Prior to this appointment, Claire Cherrington served as Head of Strategic & Technology Partnerships at Lloyds Banking Group following several promotions from Executive Assistant to Retail Banking Finance Director. She’s worked at Lloyds Banking Group since 2007.
In her new role, Claire will be responsible for boosting the market share of Sesame Bankhall Group’s (SBG) Directly Authorised (DA) businesses, and supporting mortgage, protection, and wealth firms under the SBG & PMS Mortgage Club brands. She will report directly to Richard Harrison, CEO of SBG, as of March 2025.
This appointment is the final senior hire of SBG’s Executive Committee and forms part of the group’s ambitious growth strategy, in hopes of becoming the UK’s leading provider of services to advisory firms.
