Prior to this appointment, Simon Jacobs (pictured) served as Director of Business Development at UnderwriteMe. In the past, he’s also worked as Underwriting & Claims Director at Aegon, Business Development Underwriter at Munich Re, Head of Underwriting Operations & Strategy at AXA UK, and Underwriting Manager for Individual Business at Unum, amongst others.
In the newly created role of Life Underwriting Service Director, Simon will be responsible for steering the Life Insurance operational underwriting strategy across the UK and South Africa, including the day-to-day management of the adviser servicing function. He will also lead Vitality’s quote-to-cover strategy.
