Source Insurance has announced the appointment of Simon Thomas as managing director, as it aims to strengthen its leadership team.
Simon has over 30 years’ experience in underwriting, broking and senior insurance leadership. Alongside his new role at Source, Simon will continue in the role of managing director of Protect Commercial.
Source says that Simon’s role will involve working closely with the Board to build on the foundations already in place, develop new opportunities and grow relationships across the market.
This will include growing Source’s network of provider partners, updating its home and landlord proposition and exploring new markets.
"I’m joining Source at an important stage in its development, with a real opportunity to help shape the next phase of growth," Simon Thomas said. "We have a strong understanding of advisers and the challenges they face, and that insight will remain central to how we evolve the business.
