Next Intelligence has announced the launch of a new protection referral service, offering members an alternative to writing their own protection business.

Designed for advisers who lack the time, appetite or resource to provide protection advice directly, the service ensures clients still receive fully advised support while brokers remain focused on their core mortgage activity.

The new protection referral service complements Next Intelligence’s existing Business Protected referral solution, which offers specialist business protection advice for business-owner clients.

Delivered in partnership with mortgage and insurance brokerage, Dynamo, the new proposition enables Next Intelligence members to refer clients for advice on life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection. Dynamo brings expertise in sourcing protection for clients with complex health conditions, high-risk occupations and non-standard requirements.

Brokers are kept fully informed, receiving updates at key milestones including initial contact, application submission and when a policy goes on risk.

Cat Armstrong, mortgage club director at Next Intelligence, said: “We know many mortgage advisers want their clients to receive high-quality protection advice but don’t always have the time or desire to write the business themselves. Our new referral service ensures clients receive expert guidance from a trusted partner whilst brokers benefit from a risk-free way to enhance their revenue. Together with our successful Business Protected solution, advisers now have two strong referral options to meet the diverse needs of both personal and business clients.”

Tony Field, sales and operations director at Dynamo, added: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Next Intelligence and look forward to supporting brokers with their protection referrals. With the depth of expertise we have in-house, advisers can feel confident that their clients will be in safe hands with our specialist team. We are dedicated to securing the right cover even for hard-to-place or complex cases.”
