The industry body for group risk, GRiD, has announced the addition of corporate health operating system Healthi to its membership, with the aim of helping to further protect employees by boosting understanding of group risk.
Healthi states that its mission is to replace reactive reports and static claims data with predictive, real-time insights to create a 'Return on Health' (ROH).
"I am very excited to join the GRID membership. We are completely aligned on closing the protection gap for the 5.5 million SMEs that represent over 99.8% of the UK business population and employ 16.9 million people," Ryan Hopkins, founder and CEO at Healthi, said.
"Our collaboration seeks to support the 7.95 million workers currently without access to employer-provided healthcare through smarter, more accessible health strategies. We’re all 100% aligned on simplifying the complex and making world-class health insights available to every employer, regardless of size," he added.

Colin Fitzgerald, chair of GRiD, commented: "We are very pleased to add Healthi to our membership. The goals of the company clearly align with the goals of GRiD - to create awareness and understanding of group risk, its embedded support services and the benefits for employers and their workforces.
"Our membership has a great wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise, and it is great to now add to this with the technical and statistical expertise from Healthi."
