Canada Life has announced the appointment of Antonio Ribeiro to head of distribution within its protection business, with immediate effect.
In this newly created role, Antonio will lead the distribution team and will be responsible for strengthening relationships with key adviser partners in the group protection market. He will also join the protection senior leadership team to support Canada Life’s group protection growth and digitalisation ambitions.
Most recently, Antonio was CEO and founder of insurtech and employee wellness platform Yurtle, designed to help minimise caregivers’ absence from work. Before this, he held roles supporting business start-ups and ventures and was client relationship manager at Legal & General Investment Management.
