"I’ve seen the market evolve significantly over the years, and I’m incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made in helping advisers and customers navigate those changes."
- Karen Woodley - The Exeter
The Exeter has announced that Karen Woodley will step into a new role as head of healthcare development, with the aim of helping to shape the future direction of its healthcare business.
Karen has over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare insurance market. She joined The Exeter in 2015 as head of healthcare distribution.
According to The Exeter, Karen also offers valuable external insight through her position on the ABI Health Committee and her role as treasurer of the Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII).
In this new position, Karen will focus on identifying emerging trends, innovation, market developments and future opportunities to help shape the next phase of The Exeter’s healthcare proposition.
The healthcare distribution team, previously led by Karen, will be integrated into The Exeter’s wider distribution model under Jamie Page, head of distribution.
