Royal London has announced the appointment of Bríd Meaney as chief customer officer and a member of its group executive committee.
Bríd has held a number of senior leadership roles, most recently as chief risk officer at Standard Life and previously as chief executive officer of its heritage division.
Before this, she spent over ten years as a partner at KPMG, working with insurance businesses in the UK and internationally, and served as head of insurance for KPMG in the UK. Bríd is also a qualified actuary.
She will join the business next year, succeeding Bernie Hickman, who has been leading the function on an interim basis.
