Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) has announced that it is accelerating the development of OneView, its adviser and principal platform launched earlier this year, through a new technology partnership with mortgage and protection technology company JammJar.

The integration will bring JammJar's AI and data capability into OneView, with the aim of supporting faster analysis of mortgage and protection cases, flagging missing information, and helping advisers identify potential issues earlier in the process. Work is already underway.

SBG developed OneView in-house to consolidate the tools, information, and processes advisers use into a single platform. For firm principals, it provides a central view of activity across the business, highlighting where cases may need attention and supporting decisions about growth.

For advisers, it reduces the duplication and manual follow-up that delays cases. The decision to build in-house was deliberate: SBG says it gives the business direct control over the product roadmap and the ability to respond quickly to member feedback.

"OneView is a core part of our technology strategy because it gives us a platform we can continue to build around the needs of principals, advisers and the firms they work in," said Shane Wright, chief technology officer at SBG (pictured)

"We developed it in-house so we could control the roadmap, respond quickly to feedback and bring more of the adviser and principal journey into one place. The aim is simple: to help advisers spend more time with their clients, while giving principals clearer access to the information they need to run and grow their businesses.

"We looked carefully at the market and selected JammJar as the right partner because of its proven AI capability and depth of experience in mortgage and protection technology. Working together means we can accelerate the AI and data capability within OneView, while keeping the platform aligned to our strategy and the needs of our members."

Karl Griffin, chief executive of JammJar, pointed to the volume of manual process still embedded in the protection advice journey. "The mortgage and protection process still requires advisers to spend far too much time checking, chasing and rekeying information," he said.

"By integrating JammJar into OneView, we can turn case data into clear, timely insight, flag missing information and help to keep cases moving.

"SBG has a clear vision for how AI can improve the working day for advisers and firm principals. It's not about adding technology for the sake of it. It's about making the system, which advisers use already, work harder for them, so they can spend more time understanding and supporting their clients. OneView gives us the chance to put that into practice across one of the UK's largest adviser groups."
