This year, the Group for Autism, Insurance, Investment & Neurodiversity (GAIN) has launched its ‘Inspiring Futures’ campaign to support neurodivergent talent in Financial Services.

Timed to coincide with Neurodiversity Celebration Week, World Autism Awareness Day, and Autism Acceptance Week, this initiative has been designed to celebrate the potential of neurodivergent talent and open new pathways into the insurance and investment sectors.

GAIN intends to achieve 1,000 new neurodivergent hires by 2027 to help create long-term, meaningful change.

The group plans to run a dynamic social media campaign to promote Financial Services as an “exciting and viable career choice for neurodivergent individuals,” as well as publish real-life stories from neurodivergent professionals already making a difference in the industry.

It has also produced career pages on its website, which feature current vacancies, internships, and role profiles.

“I’m thrilled to announce the launch of the Inspiring Futures Campaign. This initiative is a powerful statement of belief in the capabilities and potential of neurodivergent individuals. It’s about creating visibility, breaking barriers, and building futures where everyone can thrive.

“We’re proud to be working with our corporate members to make insurance and investment not only accessible but inspiring for all,” said Liselle Appleby, Supervisory Board Member at GAIN.
